Established in 1967 by Bob Finley Sr, Northside Service has built a reputation for reliable towing and roadside assistance across Lansing, MI and surrounding communities. As a family owned and operated business, we take pride in providing consistent, professional service backed by decades of experience.
Mid-Michigan roadways present unique challenges, including winter snow and ice, construction zones, and commercial traffic. Our team is trained to handle a wide range of towing scenarios, from light duty vehicle recovery to heavy duty towing and truck roadside assistance.
In addition to emergency services, Northside Service operates an impound facility with convenient access and extended hours. Our second location in DeWitt, MI allows us to serve a broader area with improved response times and expanded service capabilities.

We needed our truck towed to one place and our camper towed to our house and it was going to be very expensive. Mike showed up and diagnosed the issue with our truck and fixed it for us and only charged us a fee for coming to where we were and that was only because of the distance they had to go to get to us. Our vehicle would not start and parking brake would not disengage. Jimmy arrived promptly, tried to jump the battery but found it was too corroded to do so. Because the parking brake was locked, he had to apply skid skates and chains to get the car onto the tow truck.
